Founded in 2018, the Chinese company Realme took just three years to become the fastest growing smartphone manufacturer in the world. Today it is already difficult to surprise a public satiated with technological innovations, but Realme succeeded: they supplemented the recently released GT Neo 5 smartphone with a “charging accelerator” - a 240 W device that reduces the time to fully charge to a record 10 minutes (it takes 20% to charge just a minute and a half).

The smartphone has a 10-bit 6.74-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a resolution of 2772x1240. It has 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of UFC 3.1 class storage.

On the back is a 50MP Sony IMX 890 sensor for the main camera, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP micro lens.

Power Supply GT Neo 5 240W - 4600 mAh battery comes with a standard USB Type-C adapter. Maximum voltage 20V/12A.

A 30-second charge is enough for 3 hours of music streaming, 2 hours of talk time, or an hour of video playback. In 80 seconds of recharging, the battery restores its charge by 20%, in 4-5 minutes - up to 50%, and ten minutes is enough for a full charge, which, according to the GSM Arena online publication, is a record today.

The smartphone has high security settings. During charging, it heats up by no more than 10 degrees, withstands 1600 charges from 0 to 100%, after which it retains up to 80% of its original capacity.

The Realme GT Neo 5 240 W comes in three color options - purple, white and black, starting at $470.
