In 2020, Amazon bought the rights to adapt the games as a TV series. From that moment on, Fallout began to be discussed in a new way - television. For a long time there were no details - the bosses were simply silent and ignored the questions. Only occasionally did news appear on the network, such as the appointment of a new showrunner or the confirmation of an actor. At the beginning of 2022, events began to develop more rapidly.
The creators of "Fallout" got in touch and began to cover the work, periodically hinting at the timing of creation.
But they didn’t reveal the main thing - the plot, so we’ll get to know him already in the Fallout series, the release date of which should be expected no earlier than the fall of 2023.
The only thing shared by the bosses is that events will develop in the future and show how humanity survived the nuclear conflict of the 77th.
Production and contributors. We have a lot of time waiting for the release date, so let's follow the chronology of events. It all started in 2020, when the film rights to Fallout were bought by Amazon Studios. At the same time, the names of the creators were named - Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan were appointed to lead the process.
Joy made her first statement about Fallout in the summer of 2021. She did not reveal any details, but only hinted that this would be the best adaptation. At the beginning of 2022, the line-up of the creators of Fallout was replenished with showrunners - the post was shared by Jeniva Robertson-Dworet and Gram Wagner. Then the actors took over. One of the first was Walton Goggins, and later the Hornets star Ella Purnell joined him.
After a short pause, Eron Moten and Kyle MacLachlan appeared in the Fallout cast.
As you can see, work is in full swing, which means that we will soon add release dates for the new Fallout episodes to our schedule.
The filming process for Fallout started in the summer of 2022, and the first footage from the filming began to appear in the fall. And although the bosses are actively preparing for the premiere, the details of the tape are still minimal - it seems that we will have to wait for the start of the show and figure out all the details ourselves. Now not only fans of the Fallout game are waiting for the release date of the new series on Amazon Prime, but all fans of post-apocalyptic projects. And whether expectations will be justified, we will find out in 2023.
